Teistin sailed the first journey from Skopun this morning. The waves were high and there was a lot of surf in Skopun as seen on the picture above taken this morning.
The current and entering the harbor in Skopun was very challenging this morning and the next journey was therefore cancelled.
For the above mentioned reasons the last three journeys are also cancelled tonight. This includes the journeys at 18:10, at 20:30 and at 22:30 from Skopun.
When the weather and the current behave like today the captain always makes a decision from the current conditions following the risk assessment of the route.
Another challenge is that entrance to the harbor is narrowed approximately 15 meters and therefore more cancellations for Teistan can be expect this winter.
