In March we announced docking times for many of our ships. Teistin and Ternan have been docked and in the upcoming weeks Sildberin, Ritan and Sam will be docked.
We will hereby announce changes and alterations on certain routes that might lessen our services slightly. The passenger numbers on our ships have increased in numbers by 125.000 from 2014 to 2017 and we see increasing numbers of tourist. We must keep this in mind when working on our transportation sector.
Docking Times
- Sildberin, docked September 2nd until September 14th: Docked for maintenance and repairs
- Ritan, docked September 10th until 19th. Must be docked according to regulations
- Sam, docked from September 19th until week 40. Docked for 40th year classification
Ad 1: Sildberin will be docked from September 2nd until September 14th, and Súlan will sail on the route to Skúvoy. A two week solution is to be expected.
Ad 2: When Ritan is docked Jósup will sail on the route Svínoy and Fulgoy. A 9 day solution is to be expected.
Ad 3: When Sam is docked Jósup will sail on the route to Kalsoy. A 14 day solution is to be expected. Ternan will sail cargo journeys on the route to Kalsoy whilst Jósup will sail on the route to Nólsoy. Please notice: Jósup is not a car ferry.
Ternan will sail cargo journeys Mondays and Fridays. Ternan will sail from Klaksvík at 11:00 and from Syðradalur at 13:00.
We will sail cargo journeys on these days:
Mondays: 24/9 & 1/10.
Fridays: 21/9, 28/9 and 5/10 if necessary.
