The statistics for the month of May show an increase in passengers on nearly all our ferry routes. We had free sailing on the weekend between 27th and 29th of May and the increase in passengers during this weekend is visible on most all routes. The council of Tórshavn had an island day on May 28th where Ternan for example sailed to Nólsoy. Outer Island festival was in Hestur and this increased the passengers on the route to Sandoy.
The routes to Kalsoy, Fugloy and Svínoy also have a large increase in passengers. This increase stems from tourists and from Faroese companies going on employee excursions.
