The vehicle must be in the car lane at least 15 min. before departure. You only book for the vehicle (driver is included in the vehicle fare). All additional passengers must walk on board via the terminal and buy their tickets on board, but please note that:

• Children under the age of 7, that travel for free, can stay in the vehicle while boarding.
• Helpers of disabled passengers, that travel for free, can stay in the vehicle while boarding.
• Passengers with a physical disability can stay in the vehicle while boarding.

The gate closes 5 min. before departure for passengers on foot and vehicles.

On Sundays for the 17:30 departure, the car lane at Krambatangi ferry port (Suðuroy) opens at 16:00.

You can book cabins, private dining room and conference room on Smyril by calling the catering manager on tel. +298 293046 or stop by the kiosk on deck 5 to book a room. 

For travelers staying over night in cabins you can call +298 293045 for assistance on board after sailing hours. 

Cargo
For cargo by Smyril you have to contact the cargo stations in Tórshavn or Tvøroyri at least 1 hour before departure. More information on cargo is here.
